As a follow-up to last month's check in, several things were discussed with New Mexico 2nd Judicial DA. Topics included strategies for jury selection, jury questionnaires, and direct examination of the victim as well as victim testimony about trauma and possible expert testimony. Patti Powers played a huge role in delivering this TA, and the site responded well.
A quick phone call with the folks in NM took place to confirm a few details around the Grantees Meeting. We confirmed their attendance and fielded a few small logistical questions that they had.
Chris spoke with Lee Hood regarding the upcoming SAKI site visit. He mentioned to Lee that we needed to pick dates, schedule SMEs and settle on some topics to discuss while on site. Lee was receptive and will think on some topics with her team.
