Sent first monthly check-in email to Fresno. Courtney wrote back and said that she took another position in the department and that Desiree Perry would be taking her place. I removed Courtney from the contact list and made sure that Desiree was added.

Detective Alexander responded with the following:
Good morning Lisa. We do have some success stories that we were talking about sending to you guys. Several of the suspects have been arrested at this time and are pending trial. We have also found a need for a prosecutor to be added to our unit along with another detective. With that, we completed the SAKI 2019 grant and submitted it. I will be sending you some of the success stories that we have compiled this week. What is preferred in the success story? Info about the crime/arrest/filing of charges or more from the angle of the victim’s wellbeing or both? Thank you for reaching out and have a good day.
Lisa responded with success story examples from the SAKI TTA website and asked for the new hire contact information to update the internal records.

SAKI site successes – we are requesting that each site submit a bulleted list of the 2-3 accomplishments that you are most proud of. Please see the attached email for more information. You can use the success story that Detective Alexander submitted last week if you’d like.
Response from Detective Cooney: Things are busy here and we too hope this message finds you doing well. At this time we do not have any training and/or technical issues. However, we know to contact you directly in the event this status changes.
As for your questions listed below, here are the answers:
1) All three(3) of us are registered, have our flights booked, and are prepared for the Grantees meeting.
2) I am the ViCAP representative for our agency.
3) Our rooms are booked.
4) We plan on using success stories (like what Det. Alexander submitted to you last week). We’ll probably forward you a few more prior to DC.
