Paige to put together information that we have as well as find out the best peer connection.
Paige let Jake know that we have a few sites that have looked into criminal histories and sent a PowerPoint that talks about the criminal history research being conducted by the three SAKI sites that we know of that are working in this area as well as a summary document of the research questions.

They sent us a research brief outlining their early strategies, what they learned and how strategies were modified. Our conversation was very productive and Jake has plans to hit the ground running once we are given the green light to hire the person designated to collect lawfully owed DNA. At this point, we’ve been told that SAO is waiting for City Council to approve funding before hiring can occur.
