Substance abuse and addiction corresponds to the increase in crimes to support the cost of addictions and the criminal commercial networks that benefit. Illegal substance abuse also leads to increased suicide rates among their teens and young adults.

Good Lives Model and Factors that Protect against Problem Behavior
Protective Factors are those elements of a young person’s life that help protect them against future criminal behavior. This workshop focuses on how traditional Native American values and teachings can be used in a flexible curriculum to help young people stop engaging in illegal and harmful activities.

  3. The benefits or anticipated outcomes from the receipt of TTA services.

By submitting this application to BJA NTTAC, I understand that upon approval of this application for TTA, the requestor agrees to keep BJA NTTAC informed of any circumstances that may impact the delivery of the TTA, including changes in the date of the event, event cancellation, or difficulties communicating with the assigned TTA provider.
