A two-day event for the National PREA Resource Center (PRC) Field Training Auditors to receive an orientation (or refresher, for some of our previous FTAs) on the most effective training methods for the Field Training Program.

The venue for the FTA Orientation and Refresher--an OJP conference room--was reserved March 16. The tentative dates of July 12-13, July 25-26, and July 26-27 were held on the calendar for the FTA Orientation and Refresher. Once the prospective FTAs were selected on April 26, they were asked to complete an FTA registration and availability form. Included in this form were the options for the FTA Orientation and Refresher dates. On May 7, the dates of July 26-27 were selected for the FTA Orientation and Refresher. The researching of hotels began and the hotel contract was retrieved May 15. The hotel contract was signed May 22 and countersigned May 23. The first draft of the FTA Orientation and Refresher agenda was produced May 23. The travel logistics for the FTA Orientation and Refresher were sent to the FTAs and PRC faculty June 7. All hotel rooms were booked by June 25.
Completed the materials that were used at the FTA Orientation and Refresher training. This included the development of a Powerpoint presentation, obtaining new auditor handbooks for the FTAs, and crafting the agenda.
An orientation hosted by the Field Training Program. The purpose of the orientation was to teach the Field Training Auditors their responsibilities, how to be an effective teacher of the PREA standards, and review of the entirety of the Field Training Program.

- The benefits or anticipated outcomes from the receipt of TTA services.
By submitting this application to BJA NTTAC, I understand that upon approval of this application for TTA, the requestor agrees to keep BJA NTTAC informed of any circumstances that may impact the delivery of the TTA, including changes in the date of the event, event cancellation, or difficulties communicating with the assigned TTA provider.
