In December, CSG Justice Center staff began the process of winding down implementation technical assistance to Georgia's agency leaders, with a focus on finalizing Georgia's Justice Reinvestment Initiative (JRI) subaward application and the data analysis for the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) study.
CSG Justice Center staff continued discussions with Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC), Department of Community Supervision (DCS), and the Governor's office to finalize Georgia's subaward application. In addition, CSG Justice Center Staff presented the findings of the completed RSAT study to key stakeholders within GDC, DCS, and the Supreme Court Justice.

- 12/12: Call with Commissioner (Georgia Department of Correction), Assistant Commissioner (GDC), Program Director, Substance Abuse Unit, Clayton Transitional Center (GDC), Director of Risk Reduction/Transitional Services and Chaplaincy (GDC), Chief of Staff (GDC), and Director of Risk Reductions Services to discuss the results of the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) study.
- 12/14: Call with Assistant Commissioner (Georgia Department of Community Supervision), Senior Policy Advisor (DCS), Director (DCS), Manager (Community Counseling Services Unit, DCS) , and Executive Operations Director (DCS) to discuss the findings of the RSAT study.
- 12/15: Call with Supreme Court of Georgia Justice to discuss the results of the RSAT study.
