• 11/3: CSU Weekly Technical Assistance call with JRI Coordinator (Governor's Office), Assistant Director for Adult Services (DAABHS), and Assistant Director for Quality Assurance (DAABHS) and representatives from the four counties selected to operate CSUs to share updates on implementation progress.
• 11/7: Call with JRI Coordinator (Governor's Office) and law enforcement and mental health provider representatives from the four counties selected to operate CSUs to discuss guidance and protocol for CIT trained officers to make referrals to the CSUs.
• 11/9: Call with Program Management Administrator (ACC), Research and Evaluation Administrator, Executive Administrator (APB), and Computer Support Specialist (APB) to discuss analyzing data on the number of individuals returned by the Parole Board back to supervision after being referred for a revocation due to pending felony or misdemeanor charges.
• 11/13: Call with Program Management Administrator (ACC), Research and Evaluation Administrator, Executive Administrator (APB), JRI Coordinator (Governor's Office), Assistant Director for Quality Assurance (DAABHS), Research and Planning Administrator (ADC), Public Information Officer (ADC), and Software Support Analyst (ADC) to discuss plans for submitting the final subaward application.
• 11/14: Call with Director of Operations (Governor's Office), Assistant Administrator (DFA), Administrator (DFA), Controller (ACC), and Accounting Supervisor (DFA) to review the subaward reporting and reimbursement process.
• 11/14: Act 423 Data Monitoring & Information Sharing Team Meeting with Program Management Administrator (ACC), Research and Evaluation Administrator (ACC), Assistant Director for Quality Assurance (DAABHS), Research Project Assistant (DAABHS), Research and Planning Administrator (ADC), Software Support Analyst (ADC), Director (ACIC), Executive Administrator (APB), Computer Support Specialist (APB), Research and Evaluation Administrator (ACC), and Attorney (Sentencing Commission) to discuss plans for data monitoring and timelines for each agency to submit initial data.
• 11/15: Call with Chief Legal Counsel (AAC) to discuss progress with plans to collect behavioral health information from county jails via the Arkansas Crime Information Center's statewide jail database.
• 11/16: Call with Research and Planning Administrator (ADC) and Software Support Analyst (ADC) to discuss plans for monthly data collection on the prison population.
• 11/20: Community-Based Crisis Intervention Team call with JRI Coordinator (Governor's Office), Assistant Director for Adult Services (DAABHS), Assistant Director for Quality Assurance (DAABHS), Clinical Manager (DAABHS), Director (CJI), Chair (Act 423 Interagency Task Force), Training Supervisor (ALETA), and Chief Deputy Director (ACC) to discuss implementation progress with CIT training and CSUs.
• 11/21: Call with Chair (Act 423 Interagency Task Force) to discuss opportunities to engage private funders to support the state's efforts to address mental illness and substance abuse needs in county jails.
• 11/28: Call with Computer Support Specialist (APB) to discuss monthly collection of Parole Board data.
• 11/28: Call with Assistant Director for Quality Assurance (DAABHS), Research Project Assistant (DAABHS), and IT and data representatives from the four counties operating CSUs to provide guidance on developing data cohorts to the evaluate the impacts of CSUs on reducing jail stays and emergency department visits among high frequency users.
• 11/29: Call with Chief Deputy Attorney (Pulaski County) to discuss a proposal to implement a pre-trial risk assessment tool in Pulaski County and opportunities to implement a tool in other counties or statewide.
• 11/29: Call with Assistant Director for Quality Assurance (DAABHS), JRI Coordinator (Governor's Office), and Assistant Director for Adult Services (DAABHS) to discuss CSU planning.
• 11/30: Act 423 Core Implementation Team call with JRI Coordinator (Governor's Office), Assistant Director for Adult Services (DAABHS), Director (DAABHS), Chief Deputy Director (ACC), Director (ACC), Chief Legal Counsel (ADC), Executive Administrator (APB), Representatives (6th District) and Chair (Act 423 Interagency Task Force) to discuss agency implementation updates and priorities for the final subaward application.
