The Site Coordinator requested a call to further discuss the logistics of planning an event on Victim Notification implementation. We determined they would require conference approval, and we hope to submit those mid-August.
SAKI TTA held a conference call with WV regarding conference approval forms. SAKI TTA provided clarification on several items on the form. After the call, WV sent follow up emails to continue to be sure that everything was filled out correctly. The conference approval forms were completed and submitted. SAKI TTA tracked where the forms were in the process and let the WV know several times through summer and fall.
Once conference approval was obtained SAKI TTA and WV emailed several times ahead of the event to finalize details and get everyone ready for the event.
Marya Simmons attended the event and gave the presentation Implementing a Victim-Centered Approach to Reduce Re-Victimization and Ensure Victim Rights. SAKI TTA will confirm evaluations and discuss results with the site coordinator.
SL had emailed Christina after the event to request details from evaluations and/or to hear her thoughts on the success of the event. She responded that things went really well and that evaluations illustrated overall success of the event. She sent the evaluation summary on 1/4/18.
