FY25Q1 Engagement Activities

Join guest, Gene Tyon from Oaye Luta Okolakiciye (Moving Forward in a Sacred Way) for an in-depth conversation on innovative approaches to addressing substance use through culture and identity development. Oaye Luta Okolakiciye is a non-profit program that serves both youth and adults with a focus on reentry and prevention. Discussion will highlight the 12-week healing program involving traditional Lakota ceremonies, role-playing exercise, and visits to sacred sites to address addiction, abuse, and intergenerational trauma.

Regular Q4 site engagement call scheduled for 11/13/24. MA DPS has onboarded 5 subgrantees, currently working on onboarding the 6th subgrantee. One-on-one subgrantee onboarding calls planned for December, all-site onboarding call planned for January (RTI SEL planning to attend). MA DPS checking in on status of action plan/logic model, evaluation plan, and annual report - to update SEL as information available.
