This webinar will discuss the areas of intervention to address substance use disorders in the criminal justice system that COSSUP supports, introduce you to BJA representatives and your COSSUP TTA partners, and provide the opportunity for you to engage in a Q&A session with federal leaders.
Join us for a webinar led by our partners at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), where presenters from the Faribault (MN) Police Department, the New Jersey Transit Police Department, and the Newark Community Street Team will explain the benefits of addressing substance use disorders (SUDs) through deflection to treatment and services, discuss the work of their initiatives, and share best practices for collaborating with community partners.
"The Bureau of Justice Assistance’s PRSS TTAC, operated by Altarum, works with organizations and systems as they implement best practices and promising approaches related to PRSS, access to services, and other recovery supports. Altarum supports federal, state, and local governments, as well as national and community-based organizations, to build a system of care that focuses on recovery, active involvement of consumers and their families, and multiple services to best meet individual needs and to strengthen and improve the health of communities.
This webinar will be presented by BJA Programs staff members discussing the grant management aspects of your award, including approving your project budget, submitting grant adjustment modifications, and financial and programmatic reporting requirements, among other items.
