On February 27 and 28, 2024, the CSG Justice Center and consultant group, Jeweld Legacy Group, provided onsite TTA to the FY20 Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation, and Reentry grant team. We discussed the program’s goals and the team provided trainings/sessions on best practices for residential substance use treatment (therapeutic communities), MAT in prison settings, culturally responsive reentry planning, case planning, and sustainability.  The group toured the facility and the programming classrooms.

FY24 Q3 Engagement Activities Reporting Cycle Summary

Met and corresponded with grantee 5 times between April and June, 2024 on 4/9, 4/10, 4/25, 5/16, and 5/30, in addition to invites to participate in grantee cohort calls

Join us for a webinar led by our partners at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), where presenters from the Faribault (MN) Police Department, the New Jersey Transit Police Department, and the Newark Community Street Team will explain the benefits of addressing substance use disorders (SUDs) through deflection to treatment and services, discuss the work of their initiatives, and share best practices for collaborating with community partners.

"The Bureau of Justice Assistance’s PRSS TTAC, operated by Altarum, works with organizations and systems as they implement best practices and promising approaches related to PRSS, access to services, and other recovery supports. Altarum supports federal, state, and local governments, as well as national and community-based organizations, to build a system of care that focuses on recovery, active involvement of consumers and their families, and multiple services to best meet individual needs and to strengthen and improve the health of communities.
