The National Center for School Safety provides one-on-one technical assistance to STOP grantees. This Intensive TA has been offered since January 2021, and is provided to select agencies requiring more assistance. Lockport City School District was one of these agencies. TA Specialists have been in contact with Lockport City School District since 8/20/2021, with their intake meeting occurring on 9/2/2021. Intake and follow-up meetings are conducted by TA Specialists as one-hour meetings via Zoom to assist with any concerns regarding project implementation.

The National Center for School Safety provides one-on-one technical assistance to STOP grantees. From July - December 2024, there were 303 one-on-one Technical Assistance Outreach instances via email and phone call.

From July - December 2024, there were 163 one-hour one-on-one Technical Assistance Meetings via Zoom or other virtual conference software.

Emergency drills can induce stress among school staff, but integrating mental health support and breaking down safety practice silos can bolster resilience.

In this webinar, presenters from the Colorado School of Public Health discuss improving systems around emergency drills through tailored training, gathering staff feedback, and identifying local resources. Participants will learn to customize training for their districts, lead effective feedback sessions, and implement changes based on staff input.

The monthly TA Networking Drop-In is a group Technical Assistance opportunity for STOP School Violence grantees; previously named TA Grantee Hours. The Technical Assistance (TA) Team will discuss grantee questions and TA needs, and grantees have the opportunity to network with other grantees.
