The National Center for School Safety provides one-on-one technical assistance to STOP grantees. Intensive TA was provided to select agencies requiring more assistance. Central Regional Education Association was one of these agencies. TA Specialists conducted 3 one-hour meetings via Zoom as well as email follow-up with them to assist with project justifications, MOU compliance strategies, and building partnerships with law enforcement agencies.

The National Center for School Safety provides one-on-one technical assistance to STOP grantees. From July-December 2021, there were 589 one-on-one Technical Assistance Outreach instances via email and phone calls.

The National Center for School Safety provides one-on-one technical assistance to STOP grantees. Intensive TA was provided to select agencies requiring more assistance. Clermont Northeastern Local Schools was one of these agencies. TA Specialists conducted 3 one-hour meetings via Zoom to assist with increasing community buy-in for social-emotional learning and trauma-informed practices in their school.

As many schools return to in-person or hybrid schooling this fall, communities face a host of school safety challenges. A theme that underpins these challenges is uncertainty.

In this webinar, our panel of experts addresses some of the concerns that students, teachers, and administrators have expressed about the return to school this fall. We start with a short video in which school community members share their hopes and worries about school safety this year for the panelist to respond to.
