During a cohort meeting, the site discussed its plans for sustainability past the life-cycle of the grant. IACP staff offered to look into the Philadelphia site's sustainability plan for its We CAN program. Although IACP did not receive additional information from the Philadelphia grantee site, it forwarded relevant grant opportunities.
Ensuring that everyone knows what is expected of them during an emergency can be a challenge. Since school safety teams are composed of professionals across disciplines (e.g., teachers, SROs, counselors, social workers), they are uniquely equipped to evaluate their current response concepts, plans, and capabilities related to emergencies.
Participants in this learning community will discuss partnership successes and barriers and learn tools to formalize valuable school safety relationships. There will be opportunities to share and engage with other professionals in live peer-to-peer learning through three one-hour sessions. These sessions are intended to provide participants with a space to navigate the creation and formation of successful and authentic partnerships.
The National Center for School Safety provides one-on-one technical assistance to STOP grantees. From January-June 2022, there were 862 one-on-one Technical Assistance Outreach instances via email and phone call.

From January-June 2022, there were 206 one-hour One-on-one Technical Assistance Meetings via Zoom or other virtual conference software.

This Intensive TA has been offered since January 2021, and is provided to select agencies requiring more assistance. Teen and Police Service (TAPS) Academy was one of these agencies. TA Specialists have been in contact with Teen and Police Service (TAPS) Academy since 8/6/2021, with their intake meeting occurring on 8/16/2021. There has been 1 additional follow-up meeting, which occurred within the current reporting period.

TA Specialists have been in contact with Saint Louis Public Schools since 6/3/2021, with their intake meeting occurring on 3/18/2022. There have been 2 additional follow-up meetings. Both of these follow-up meetings occurred within the current reporting period.

Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education was one of these agencies. TA Specialists have been in contact with Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education since 4/12/2022, with their intake meeting occurring on 4/29/2022.

TA Specialists have been in contact with Milwaukee Police Department since 2/28/2022, with their intake meeting occurring on 4/25/2022. There have not yet been additional follow-up meetings, but TA Specialists continue to reach out and provide resources.
