On December 11, 2024, the HAVI hosted a webinar entitled “HVIPs in the CVI Ecosystem” to answer questions from the CVI field. There were nearly 300 attendees. In the registration process, attendees were asked to submit questions about HVIPs and their role in the CVI ecosystem. This provided the HAVI with information to begin assessing the field for specific needs surrounding professional development and organizational structure. The webinar included HAVI faculty and other emerging member programs.

Report of findings and recommendations from a site visit to Middlesex County and interviews with impacted community members and State Public Defender attorneys and staff to produce a survey tool to measure client satisfaction and feedback.

The Tribal Access to Justice Innovation (TAJI) website is an excellent source of promising programs throughout Indian country and provides examples of programs focusing on alternatives to incarceration, corrections and reentry, jurisdictional collaborations, traditional courts and more. The Center for Justice Innovation envisioned and developed this website. CJI will work as a project partner to continue updating, enhancing and maintaining the TAJI website. Monthly webinars and resources have been updated to the site.
