Recurring project management activities continued during the last 6 months of 2020, including oversight and administration, and reviewing and approving monthly invoices of subcontractors such as Tetra Ventures, Tom Carlson Consulting, and Richard Gold legal services. Regular updates were prepared including periodic connection maps, PowerPoint status reports, and Excel spreadsheets and distributed to representatives from TTAC, CDC, and BJA. Monthly progress reports were also prepared and provided to IIR.

During the reporting period, the TTAC team participated in biweekly conference calls with BJA leaders to discuss current PDMP projects and activities. Weekly written status reports on PDMP TTAC deliverables and activities were also provided to BJA.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, an in-person meeting of TTA providers has not yet been scheduled; however, the TTAC staff will participate when the meeting is held.

The COVID-19 pandemic continued to impact travel in most states; consequently, national meetings related to PDMP activities were either cancelled or conducted virtually. During this reporting period, TTAC staff members participated in four virtual regional/national meetings:

The TTAC team regularly coordinates conference calls for PDMP administrators to connect and discuss issues such as system enhancements, technical assistance, and promising practices. During the reporting period, TTAC staff members held three compliance conference calls that brought together interested PDMP administrators to discuss concerns or issues and seek solutions through a consensus of ideas.

The PDMP TTAC team hosts and facilitates monthly conference calls with the RxCheck Governance Board; the PMIX Standards Organization; the PMIX Operations, Technical, and Standards Compliance Subcommittees; and ad hoc committees as needed to support the groups in accomplishing their goals. During this reporting period, the TTAC team hosted and facilitated 27 monthly conference calls with the various PMIX groups and 13 calls with the various RxCheck groups.

The RxCheck Hub provides states the ability to easily participate in the growing movement of nationwide Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) data sharing and integration. RxCheck was developed with support from the U.S. Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), using the Prescription Monitoring Information Exchange (PMIX) National Architecture specifications. RxCheck was designed with the involvement of state PDMP administrators, private industry, and the federal government.
