The Center will convene a community and practitioner roundtable on June 19, 2018, titled “Community Perceptions of Fairness.” Roundtable participants will review and discuss preliminary results from the two-site study funded under this award in Cleveland, OH and Newark, NJ. The roundtable will be structured in two parts. The morning session will include community members and leaders from local academic, faith-based, and other community-based institutions; the afternoon session will include justice system leaders such as judges, prosecutors, law enforcement, and public defenders.
The webinar went really well. Patti spoke to several key topics to consider when cross examining the defendant in not only sexual assault cases, but all cases.
