On October 11 and 12, Center staff Taylor DeClerck and Shawn Rogers traveled to the 2023 Coordinator/Case Manager conference hosted by the Wisconsin Association of Treatment Court Professionals (WATCP). They delivered two presentations. First one titled "Case Management for Justice Professionals: How to lead from the front line" provided the fundamentals for comprehensive case management, how to become participant-oriented and community based, and assisting with needs outside of substance use treatment.

NAICJA staff, Johanna Farmer and Mary Rodriguez, submitted a presentation proposal that was selected for the 2023 Legal Symposium. NAICJA will share their work on the policy project regarding collateral consequences and their inherent role in preventing access to housing in Indian Country. Conference registration is waived for the day the staff presents.
