Over the month of September, CSG Justice Center staff provided office-based technical assistance to support non-SCA grantees and projects. Staff conducted approximately 9 phone calls, 9 emails, and 2 information requests.
Over the month of August, CSG Justice Center staff provided office-based technical assistance to Second Chance Act grantees and responded to inquiries from the field. Staff conducted approximately 133 phone calls and 124 emails.
On December 6 & 7, 2016, Equitas Foundation, the American Bar Association, and Georgetown University’s Prisons and Justice Initiative convened experts from 16 states and the District of Columbia to address Severe Mental Illness and the Death Penalty. The Summit was held at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. NCCJD was invited to attend and present information related to I/DD.
This webinar was for organizations responding to the 2015 Second Chance Act Statewide Recidivism Reduction solicitation. During webinar, officials from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance explained the grant program application process.
