This slide deck includes a presentation conducted by Patti Powers of AEquitas and Julie Valentine of the University of Utah for the International Association of Forensic Nursing. The presentation focuses on the intersection of prosecution and sexual assault nurse examiners as it relates to criminal case outcomes.

The 9th Annual National SAKI Grantees Meeting will bring together over 200 representatives from federal, state, and local criminal justice agencies to discuss recommended practices to address sexual assault response and reduce violent crime. The meeting will host opportunities for attendees to discuss challenges, promising practices, and next steps.
