IJIS received a subaward from IIR on September 1, 2023, to support three independent efforts related to RxCheck. The efforts include support to and maintenance of the RxCheck Hub, support to the tribal integration project, and support to eHealth Exchange Integration.

The PDMP TTAC team has developed working relationships with many key federal partners representing public health and public safety communities and regularly collaborates with numerous national organizations. During the reporting period, the PDMP TTAC team participated in weekly conference calls with BJA leaders to discuss current PDMP projects and activities. In addition, the TTAC team participated in one quarterly COSSUP provider call with BJA.

The COSSUP National Forum was held on August 29–31, 2023, and PDMP TTAC team members developed and facilitated a track for PDMP-related topics. Sessions included were:

• Leveraging Partnerships to Inform Prevention: Strategic Use of Overdose Fatality Review and Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Data
• Emerging Public Health and Safety Research on the Impact of Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs
• Using Data to Mitigate Substance Use
• The Power of Rapid Response Teams in Combatting the Opioid Crisis

The PDMP TTAC team has been involved with BJA’s GrantStat Program in previous years and, utilizing the GrantStat measurements, identified PDMPs in need of specialized technical assistance. However, BJA did not request the PDMP TTAC team’s participation in the GrantStat Program during this reporting period. The PDMP TTAC team will fully participate in GrantStat upon request and will take whatever action is deemed appropriate by BJA to assist grantees in meeting performance and deliverable requirements.

TLPI has monthly calls/outreach with Tribal Judicial Institute (TJI) at UND and National American Indian Court Judges Association (NAICJA), as sub awardees on this award, to discuss grantee TTA, TTA workplans, and TA reports, and additional award deliverables

BJA leadership did not request that PDMP TTAC staff members review progress reports during this reporting period, nor have the reports been made available for review. When the reports are provided, PDMP TTAC staff members will review them to identify common grantee needs and use the information gathered to develop a more effective TTA delivery strategy. In the meantime, the PDMP TTAC staff continually draws on its relationships and experiences with PDMPs to identify new technical assistance delivery strategies.

Part of the technical assistance that the PDMP TTAC team has provided to PDMPs over the years has been assistance with grantee data collection and reporting requirements for BJA performance measures. PDMP TTAC staff members did not receive any requests from PDMP grantees for assistance with performance measure reporting during this reporting period; however, PDMP TTAC staff members had conference calls with two BJA grant recipients: the
Northern Mariana Islands PDMP and the Cheyenne Arapaho Tribe. Discussions included an explanation about the BJA performance measures.

The PDMP TTAC team regularly coordinates conference calls for PDMP administrators to connect and discuss issues such as system enhancements, technical assistance, and promising practices. PDMP TTAC staff members facilitated and participated on the following conference calls during this reporting period:
