Meet with Bimaadiziwin “Good Life” Case Management Program Staff to Discuss Findings from the Culturally Responsive Approaches to Case Management and Intervention for Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders Training held on April 16, 2024 and discuss future COSSUP program plans. This will also include select meetings with shelter, behavioral health, and substance use treatment staff.
The National AMBER Alert Symposium is designed to bring together over 200 State and Regional AMBER Alert coordinators, Missing Person Clearinghouse Managers, tribal leaders, public safety, emergency management and federal officials to collaborate, share best practices, discuss the latest developments in the field and to train with other child protection partners to improve response and recovery of endangered missing and exploited children.
On 3/11/2024 TLPI held their Virtual Kick Off Meeting for FY 23 CTAS PA 3 Grantees. TLPI TTA Partner NAICJA (National American Indian Court Judges Association), and Deb English, Tribal Court Administrator, Cody Mattison, Contracts Specialist in Grants Department, and Danny Harjo, Grants Department Manager of the Prairie Island Tribal Community joined the virtual meeting via zoom. TLPI presented on the Tribal Courts, Tribal Justice System, and Intergovernmental Collaboration Projection, the broad range of TLPI resources, publications, webinars, and various TTA projects.
On 3/15/2024 TLPI held their Virtual Kick Off Meeting for FY 23 CTAS PA 3 Grantees. Chief Judge Patricia Davis, and Kim Needham, Tribal Court Clerk/Administrator of the Burns Paiute Tribal Court joined the virtual meeting via zoom. TLPI presented on the Tribal Courts, Tribal Justice System, and Intergovernmental Collaboration Projection, the broad range of TLPI resources, publications, webinars, and various TTA projects. TLPI also discussed how to request TTA, the TTA TLPI process (which consists of TA Coach assignments, the development of a TA workplan, and a final TA report.
