12/5 - Recruitment meeting with Eric Bryson (Executive Director) of the Montana Association of Counties and Janice Fries (Director) of the Montana Statistical Analysis Center. CSG Justice Center staff discussed possible partnership between Justice Counts and Montana Board of Crime Control. (2 participants, representing 2 agencies).

12/5 - Recruitment meeting with Ann Miller (Justice Center Advisory Board member and Managing Attorney), Lynsey Gaudioso (Staff Attorney), Katie Jones (Staff Attorney), and Susette Billedeaux (Director of Holistic Services) of the Tribal Defenders Office of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT). Maylinn Smith (Managing Attorney) and Joshua Cahacon (Lead Case Manager) of the Tribal Prosecutors Office of the CSKT attended as well. (6 participants, representing 2 CSKT agencies).

12/10 - Recruitment meeting with Jon R. Courtney, Deputy Director of the New Mexico Legislative Finance Committee. CSG Justice Center staff discussed the possibility of presenting Justice Counts at their next legislative session in 2025. (1 participant, representing 1 agency).

12/10 - Recruitment meeting with Special Counsel Marco Serna of the Administration of District Attorneys to introduce the project. (1 participant, representing 1 agency).

12/10 - Meeting with Octavian Valencia (DPS Staff Manager) and Amanda Macias (Special Projects Supervisor) of the NM Department of Public Safety to begin collecting statewide law enforcement data. (2 participants, representing 1 agency)

12/10 - Re-engagement meeting with Douglas Carver (Acting Deputy Director) and Nancy Shan (Director of Research) of the New Mexico Sentencing Commission (NMSC) now that agency is under new leadership. CSG Justice Center staff also discussed NMSC's ability to collect metrics on behalf of the DOC. (2 participants, representing 1 agency)

12/11 - Visit to University of New Mexico Police Department. CSG Justice Center staff met with Deputy Chief Arturo Gonzalez, Commander Tim Stump, Lieutenant Guadalupe (Pete) Guevara, Lieutenant Larry Bitsoih, Lieutenant Patrick Burk, and Jeff McDonald, Security Operations Director to introduce the project. (6 participants, representing 1 agency).

11/20 - Meeting with Chris Chambers (Director of Correctional Policy Research and Internal Oversight), Cathy Jefferson (Deputy Director of Director of Correctional Policy Research and Internal Oversight), Anette Lambert (Deputy Director of Quality Management),? Kevin Grassel (IT Specialist), Corinne Slapnick (IT Manager), Robert Joy (Quality Management Consultant), John D., Marcus D., and Michael S from the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation (CDCR) to introduce the project.
