Chia Halpern attended the NCAI pre meeting: VAWA Task Force to provide information on TLPI resources and TA available. Chia shared the TLOA Enhanced Sentencing/VAWA SDVCJ implementing tribes chart with the group and discussed the upcoming VAWA Intertribal Working Group meeting.
In November 2016 the Colorado River Indian Tribes requested remote technical assistance from the Center in the form of best practices and publications. The Center fulfilled the request.
In October 2016, the Pascua Yaqui Tribe requested the Center's assistance with best practices, and document review. The Center fulfilled the TTA request.
In October 2016, Center staff received a request for remote TTA from the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe. The Tribe requested publications, best practices, and document review, and Center staff completed the request.

PRC Co-Director Jenni Trovillion provided an PREA update to the Association of State Correctional Administrators Business Meeting convened in San Antonio, Texas on January 22, 2016.
PRC will serve as an umbrella resource center with established partnerships with diverse partners bringing varying expertise and increased capacity to serve the filed.
The PRC will complete phase one of an information database system which will include advanced ticket tracking functionality and the ability to keep detailed records of service delivery to the field and to auditors. The information will be accessible across all staff and across all activity areas to increase efficiencies and effective service.
