Met with Louisiana on 3/26/2024 for their check-in call to discuss updates and challenges. Planning phase was Fall 2023, and now entering implementation phase of project. Stakeholders meeting coming up, they meet monthly with TUlane. Tulane workin on contracts with local pilot sites.
Conducted the Q1 check-in meeting on 3/21/2024 with main project team. Still waiting on contract with Wilmington PD and are pivoting from Rehobeth beach PD to Ocean View instead, potentially. Things are moving along well.
Met with Idaho state on 3/26/24 to discuss change to site engagement team structure and cinduct abbreviate needs assessment. Naloxone distribution has relaunched after issues with legislation. Looking for ideas about Continuing education credits for naloxone training. University of Idaho is conducting surveys across 7 public health ditricts for MAT toolkit development. Project ECHO anticipating podcast relese in Spring/summer. Site is applying for NCE - Sarah resent NCE exmaples/tips.
Met with Iowa State POC and subgrantee Project coodinators on 3/6/2024 to discuss change to site engagement team structure, updates, and TTA needs. They talked about their plans for sustainability and general struggle with LE buy-in in rural areas. Two of their county diversion programs will be funded for the foressable future! No TTA Needs at this time. They feel good about their closing activites/final report.
Conducted the Q1 check-in meeting with main POC. The site has expanded their project to 2 counties and are currently working on offering more treatment services and providing housing to participants. They have no TA needs at this time.
