Cher-Ae Heights Indian Community of the Trinidad Rancheria is a FY22 grantee. TTA for Trinidad continued this reporting period: sharing of cultural assessment tools included one from Blackfeet Nation and one from Thunderbird Partnership; and with Sister Court interest to be paired Mentor Court NM Urban Healing to Wellness Court, planning continued to arrange a virtual and in-person site visit. TTA will continue next reporting period.

Luminous Health (Annapolis) is currently facing challenges with situations where mental health patients are admitted or held for evaluation. When these patients are ready to leave, physicians have expressed concerns about the presence of lethal means in their homes.

The NCJA Center for Justice Planning and Data Center, in collaboration with Connecticut’s SAA Office (OPM) and their Statistical Analysis Center, is spearheading the development of the state’s 2026 strategic plan. This initiative includes a robust statewide survey designed to engage public safety and community-based organizations, including law enforcement, rural organizations, victim services, and violence prevention programs.
