Focus/Advisory Group Working Session

Multiple states and two tribes make up representation for the Ashanti Alert Stakeholder Working Group. The group holds a virtual meeting generally each quarter. The Ashanti TA team helps support the virtual meetings.

Meeting with Brian McIntyre (County Attorney), Lori Zucco (Chief Criminal Deputy) and Dallas Bullington (Technology Project Manager) from the Cochise County Attorney's Office to introduce the project.

Meeting with Janus Poppe (Justice of the Peace) and Jennifer Davies (Court Manager) from Bisbee Justice Court to introduce the project.

Meeting with Glenn Orr (Chief) from the Thatcher Police Department to introduce the project. Chief Orr opted in during the meeting.

Objective 2: Provide sustainability assistance to four states completing the JRI process in FY22.
1. Interview with people living in the NH DOC Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester, NH. (8 people)

Objective 3: Promote Justice Counts with the goal of increasing participation and support.
CSG Justice Center presented on the main stage at the American Probation and Parole Annual Training Institute alongside Justice Counts champion Cass County Court and Pretrial Services Director, Hillary Hartoin titled: Making Justice Count in Probation and Parole: Data as a storytelling mechanism.
