This grant was awarded to IIR, effective October 1, 2020. Activities were delayed pending the release of two specific withholding special conditions related to budget clearance. At the end of this reporting period, the budget has not yet cleared but is anticipated to be cleared, with all special conditions released, in January 2021.

The Tribal Healing to Wellness Court Enhancement Training is the preeminent national training opportunity for tribal problem-solving courts. Like national and regional drug court trainings, the Wellness Court Enhancement Training is oriented around the ten key components and the National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP) National Drug Court Standards.

Tulalip is working collaboratively with Children and Family Futures to provide training and techincal assistance to the Tulalip Healing to Wellness Court. The collaboration has focused on providing tribal-specific practices for Tulalip to use in developing their Family Healing to Wellness Court. The intended outcome of the technical assistance is for Tulalip Team members to gain knowledge about Family Wellness Court best practices, especially those that are tribal-specific to build on the TTA they have received from Children and Family Futures previously.
