In recognition of National Recovery Month, OJP is pleased to host a webinar today featuring OJP’s Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General, Katharine Sullivan, and Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy, Jim Carroll, two agencies that have helped make Recovery Month a year long, committed endeavor. OJP and ONDCP will discuss their efforts to continue promoting the adoption of medication assisted treatment to treat opioid use disorders in community and corrections settings.

Webinar: “Ashanti Alert Act Pilot Project”

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) will be hosting a webinar on the Ashanti Alert Act, a national notification system for individuals between the ages of 18 and 64.  As a state leader and coordinator in your state, BJA is asking that you participate in this webinar to discuss the possibility of your state becoming a pilot project state.

The Ashanti Alert Act created a nationwide alert system that helps public safety agencies quickly locate missing adults between the ages of 18 and 64. BJA invites state leaders and coordinators to participate in this webinar to discuss the possibility of their state becoming a pilot project state.

Apply for the FY 2020 Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding Program
