Micrograntee - Summit County Offender Recidivism Reduction (SCORR) Program Enhancement
Two Aurora PSP site representatives and one Rochester representative attended the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) 2024 Public Safety Symposium. This symposium convened a diverse group of those involved in public safety efforts around the country, including police, prosecutors, community supervision, crime analysts, researchers, community members, and criminal justice practitioners. During the 4-day symposium, attendees discussed innovative public safety initiatives, evidence-based violence reduction practices, and other contemporary criminal justice topics.
CSG Justice Center staff collaborated with BJA to develop the agenda, identify speakers, develop the slide deck and conduct outreach to the SRCC network in preparation for the October session.
