The SLATT monthly partner meeting was held on February 6, 2025. SLATT partner meetings are convened to discuss current initiatives and progress toward completing SLATT tasks.
During the month of February 2025, 155 new SLATT user accounts were created. Of the new accounts, 85 were approved as SLATT direct accounts, 50 were created via Regional Information Sharing Systems program credentials, and 20 were created via Federal Bureau of Investigation, Law Enforcement Enterprise Portal, program credentials.
The SLATT team addressed approximately 81 inquiries received from users submitting questions or requests using the “Contact Us” button on the www.slatt.org website. Inquiries related to SLATT training, resources, webinars, publications, login issues, website access, and general questions.
Evaluation feedback from five individuals completing the on-demand virtual “Homegrown Violent Extremism Threat to Law Enforcement: The Jesse Hartnett Survivor Story” was positive. All student indicated that they were satisfied with the course and agreed or strongly agreed that the information was useful, it increased their knowledge, was relevant to their current jobs, they would apply what they had learned and would recommend the course to others.

Both students indicated that they were satisfied with the course and agreed or strongly agreed that the information was useful, it increased their knowledge, was relevant to their current jobs, they would apply what they had learned and would recommend the course to others. Students commented that they appreciated the resources available to local law enforcement on how to report suspicious activity.
On February 19, 2025, an electronic “SLATT Chat” was distributed to promote the March 4, 2025, webinar titled, “Threat Assessment Threat Management: Moving from Assessment to Management and Prevention.”
The training flyer for the March 4, 2025, delivery of the “Threat Assessment Threat Management: Moving from Assessment to Management and Prevention” webinar was updated, disseminated to more than 3600 personnel, and published on the www.slatt.org website.
During the month of February 2025, the IIR Information Technology team completed two enhancements related to the www.slatt.org website, as follows: (1) a quarterly checklist was developed based on the security scans from January, 2025 (no major issues were identified); and (2) a weekly scan was implemented to identify issues that may arise in the following categories: content policies, quality assurance, accessibility, search engine optimization, amount of downtime, and statistics.
On February 27, 2025, the SLATT team submitted the January 2025 monthly report to BJA and IIR leadership. The monthly report provides SLATT Program updates, highlights, and statistics for the month.
