The peers currently operating within the Dept of Health in MS have high caseloads and feel there is a lack of support in the peer community; they are working on trying to identify ways of implementing new ideas and community partnerships but are struggling with making some of the connections and finding resources.

Rising Ground, a juvenile agency in New York, NY requested their PREA employee, contractor and volunteer training curriculum to be reviewed. Rising Ground contracts with the City of New York Administration for Children's Service to provide juvenile services for one secure and six non-secure facilities.

Provide a two day, in-person, specialized training: Investigating Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment for the Essex County Sheriff's Department in Middleton, MA. The training will include other adult agencies around the area and possibly NY. The training was scheduled for November 20-21, 2024 but rescheduled to February 4-6, 2025. The training topics will consist of investigating sexual abuse and sexual harassment in confinement settings and include a local prosecutor and advocate.

The Michigan State Police Grants and Community Services Division, in collaboration with the Center for Justice Planning, is developing a survey followed by individual data collection calls to assess JAG program needs across law enforcement, corrections, and other key stakeholders. This survey aims to identify JAG funding needs, including program area priorities, technology requirements, and funding allocation priorities. The insights gathered from the survey and data collection calls will support MSP in their upcoming strategic planning process.

TLPI's Civicore database continues to be utilized to track grantee outreach, TA requests and work, and training events. Wellness Court Specialists ensure that all contacts are recorded and Wellness Court Specialists Angie Juárez-Monger ensures complete date entry and reporting. This reporting period a new TA Workplan template began to be utilized and grantee TA workplans will be submitted to BJA next reporting period.

APA's Capital Litigation Advisory Committee will meet in May 2025 for 1.5 to identify discuss programming and training needs for the field. Outputs will include a training curriculum for the next year as well as a peer-to-peer exchange between members. Jurisdictions will highlight the issues that they are facing respectively, and discuss in roundtable format ways to troubleshoot those issues.

In partnership with the North Carolina Conference of District Attorneys. This three-day multidisciplinary course will provide the knowledge and skills necessary for prosecutors to make charging decisions and prosecute homicide cases. Additionally, this course will provide practical exercises in the investigation and prosecution of a homicide and teamwork tips for investigators and victim advocates.
