Site formally submitted to IACP for review and approval. IACP reviewed and approved the IP with detailed feedback. This moves the site into the Implementation Phase of their award.

IACP met with the NYC DOC team a total of five (5) times over the last six (6) months. Had first, introductory meeting to introduce key IACP staff members and learn more about the project from the core team's perspective. Discussed IACP's role as the TTA provider and what sort of TTA we provide. Introduced site to our partners at the American Correctional Association (ACA) who are able to discuss the site's challenges and success in more depth due to their subject matter expertise. Site has had a robust CIT program that was negatively impacted by COVID.

IACP met with the core staff for Prince George County, MD to discuss their initial plan for their program and assess their TTA needs. IACP introduced key staff members and discussed what TTA we offer. Site has been working to get their final budget approved through BJA and were not able to meet with the IACP for our recurring check-in calls, other than the initial introductory call, during this reporting period.

IACP met with the core team for the Memphis site a total of five (5) times over the past six (6) months to discuss the site's needs and provide customized TTA as needed. Site has been working well with the local university for their data collection and analysis partnership. The Memphis PD has a robust CIT program and they are looking to update and enhance their program with the CRIT curriculum. The site is sending two officers to IACP's Train the Trainer event in July to better prepare themselves for conducting CRIT trainings.

IACP met with the core team for the Seattle site a total of four (4) times over the past six (6) months. Once their budget was fully approved through BJA, IACP began meeting monthly with the site to provide customized TTA and recieve programmatic updates. Site is in the early stages of their Planning Phase and are working with the IACP to work through any initial challenges that they may be facing. They are working through some issues with recruitment and retention and attempting to build a secure sustainability plan for the program.
