CSG Justice Center staff convened a virtual open focus group with clients formerly or currently on supervision to solicit opinions about supervision procedures, improvements to the community supervision structure, in particular the revocation process; changes implemented because of the pandemic, and its impact on them.

Iowa Summit on Justice and Disparities
CSG Justice Center staff joined the Iowa Board of Corrections in a panel titled “Creating Innovation and Pathways to Success” at the in-person Iowa Summit on Justice and Disparities. During the panel, presenters discussed the various IDOC initiatives underway to improve public safety, increase reentry success, and reduce disparities in the correctional system, and CSG Justice Center staff introduced the JRI project
