Workshop participants will participate in practical exercises to enhance their ability to interpret complex bloodstain patterns deposited on fabrics, textiles and clothing. This will be accomplished by the participant’s dripping, splashing and transfering liquid blood onto fabrics, textiles, and clothing and observing the macroscopic and microscopic interaction of the blood with the substrate. Workshop participants will also learn to evaluate bloodstain evidence from digital files by working on cases provided in a digital format.
The Tennessee Coalition’s Annual Conference reflects a commitment to ending domestic and sexual violence in Tennessee through education, prevention, policy development, and victim services. This 2-day in-person conference is designed for victim service providers, law enforcement, court personnel, batterers’ intervention programs, social workers, health care providers, students, and university faculty. The 2025 conference theme, “Stronger Together,” represents our deep conviction that our collective power is greater than our individual strength.
