NW3C plans to send Jim Emerson to attended the IACP CCDE Quarterly Meeting. Mr. Emerson will present on "Embedded Systems Digital Forensics and Investigation of Robotic and AI Systems". The presentation is described as, "In the day and age of increasing encounters with robots, smart home systems, and AI driven infrastructure where injuries and fatalities occur frequently and property loss hangs clearly in the balance, do we have the competence and capacity to investigate these matters and evaluate relevant digital evidence? Can we discern between malfunction and malicious?

NW3C will send staff Jim Emerson to present a four-hour session "Cybersecurity and Digital Integrity of CJIS Systems" at IJIS Institute Mid-Year Briefing event. The IJIS Institute's newly formed Task Force on Cyber Security will also discuss their priorities, including reviewing the recent Executive Orders and CJIS Security Policy and assessing the gaps.

Described as, "In the beginning, the Internet was just a set of documents that you could seek out and obtain information from. It was a static collection of data that assisted us in learning about a topic.

NW3C was asked to provide a speaker, Billy Rodgers, for the 2022 OSMOSIS Conference in Tampa, Florida. The presentation was WEB 3.0 - READ, WRITE, TRUST? Described as, "In the beginning, the Internet was just a set of documents that you could seek out and obtain information from. It was a static collection of data that assisted us in learning about a topic. This paved the way for the Internet as we know it today, allowing us to interact and publish our thoughts, photos, and personal data on sites that are not necessarily in our control once we shared these items.
