The NDCRC planned to attend the NADCP RISE20 conference in Anaheim, California May 26-30, 2020. Due to COVID-19, the conference was moved to a virtual platform, announced April 10, 2020. The NDCRC team was able to craft a virtual booth with our own branding and adjust media and information presentation to fit this platform. The virtual booth was staffed by four team members on a rotating basis for the duration of the conference, May 26-29. Staff were able to engage visitors in discussion about the NDCRC's vision, new website, and upcoming changes.

NDCRC will contact individual state coordinators (or local coordinators, if no state coordinator is in place) via phone to introduce UNCW NDCRC staff, discuss anticipated changes in resources, identify specific state and local needs, and obtain information regarding state program and recidivism data entry/collection capabilities. The NDCRC will use this information in dissemination of state, local, and tribal surveys, as well as to focus the development of content for the website and services provided by the NDCRC.
