Panelists shared their experiences in VOD and the importance of offering harmed and responsible persons an opportunity to engage in restorative justice practices. Presenters also shared key recommendations and challenges during the implementation process.

Panelists shared their experiences relating to the lived experience of being incarcerated and learning about restorative justice, as well as tools for implementing and improving restorative justice education in carceral settings.

Recurring meeting to present site with all pertinent information and documents, answer any questions and inquiries, maintain consistent communication to monitor progress, assist in submitting planning and implementation guide, deliver equitable technical assistance throughout tenure, increase the use of people first language, and adapt a culture within the Sheriff's office that is geared towards the increase of diversity, equity and inclusion.
