Between July and December 2024 we facilitated 35 peer-to-peer connections and consultations between grantees and subject matter experts. This included connecting FY20 PFS Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma and FY20 SUD Alaska Native Justice Center’s Cook Inlet Tribal Council on July 17 and August 6, 2024, to discuss tribal reentry efforts and culturally responsive programming. Additionally, FY23 SUD Superior Court of Guam was connected to FY22 SUD Pima County, AZ, to discuss their RSAT programs.

This fourth and final session of the virtual FY23 SCA PFS learning community engaged grantees in discussing how to prepare for program sustainability. Discussion focused on leveraging available outcomes data to demonstrate program impact, establishing sustainability plans and planning bodies, and identification of additional funding sources.

This learning community session introduced grantees to a range of outcomes-based contracting methods from peer sites and CSG staff. Grantees met in small groups to gain familiarity with their peers and discuss foundational questions relevant to their pay for success project. Participants also gained familiarity with deliverable planning guides developed by the CSG Justice Center team to develop their initial deliverables, data collection, and selection of metrics. Both new and current grantees had an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussion around their project.

We responded to 8 requests to the Stepping Up Infoline during this reporting period. Request topics included information on the Stepping Up initiative’s goals and guiding principles, networking opportunities with other Stepping Up counties, access to BH data, marketing material for webpages, and assistance for loved ones with BH needs.
