PERF received a number of TTA requests from agencies in and around the DMV. This regional training seminar was an opportunity for local agencies to discuss cross-jurisdictional violent crime challenges and strategies and for PERF, and subject matter experts, to provide training on innovative strategies and educate folks about the free resources available through this project.
CHJ Office Hours take place every 3rd Friday of the month. These Office Hours are meant for sites to come and ask any questions or concerns that they may have. There will be members of the CHJ team, with appearances from various subject matter experts or other COSSUP TTA providers, present for the duration of the call to assist with any topics/questions that are brought up. Any site can join throughout the hour to speak with the CHJ team.
The High-Risk Domestic Violence Court for Cuyahoga County, OH, received technical assistance through
the Community Supervision Resource Center (CSRC) from August 2024 to October 2024. This
memorandum outlines the requested assistance, completed activities, achievements, and considerations
for further improvement.
Grantee Franklin County Sheriff's Office in Massachusetts contacted COSSUP for TTA. The request detailed the need for a second in-person support to hold a 1-2 day meeting with members of their CONNECT deflection team. They wanted to convene the group to create shared agreements to address the complex intersection of law enforcement, child welfare, and peer recovery in our post-opioid overdose response.
