On 2/6/25 TLPI held a virtual onsite training for Burns Paiute. It was presented by Chantel Cloud (TLPI), Catherine Retana (TLPI), Greg Brown (Fox Valley), with administrative support from Mytia Zavala (TLPI). Chief Judge Patricia Davis, and Kim Needham, Tribal Court Clerk/Administrator, Miranda J. Moulton, Probation Officer of the Burns Paiute Tribal Court joined the virtual on-site training via zoom. TLPI and Fox Valley presented on Tribal Re-Entry and Probation: Case Planning for Criminal Justice Professionals

On 3/15/2024 TLPI held their Virtual Kick Off Meeting for FY 23 CTAS PA 3 Grantees. Chief Judge Patricia Davis, and Kim Needham, Tribal Court Clerk/Administrator of the Burns Paiute Tribal Court joined the virtual meeting via zoom. TLPI presented on the Tribal Courts, Tribal Justice System, and Intergovernmental Collaboration Projection, the broad range of TLPI resources, publications, webinars, and various TTA projects. TLPI also discussed how to request TTA, the TTA TLPI process (which consists of TA Coach assignments, the development of a TA workplan, and a final TA report.

Designed for grantees working to implement or enhance services, it examines best practices for delivering care, fostering collaboration with justice system partners, and ensuring continuity of care post-release. Participants gain insights into evidence-based approaches to improving outcomes for individuals impacted by substance use disorders in correctional environments.
