In October, CSG Justice Center staff continued working with contractors to develop agency dashboards.
Objective 6: Provide intensive TA to 10 states, supporting the adoption and use of the Justice Counts metrics to drive decision-making. (Founding State Work)?
In Louisiana, CSG Justice Center staff met with East Baton Rouge Criminal Justice Coordinating Council to provide project updates and with the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office?to introduce the project.
Webinar for suicide prevention awareness month with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
The National CVIPI Center TTA Request tool is critical for our ability to assess community violence intervention (CVI) needs in the field and to help prioritize delivery of TTA topics. During this reporting period, LISC received and responded to 54 TTA requests from the field. LISC continues to track, analyze and report these requests
regularly to BJA.
The LE-MH Learning Sites provided assistance to jurisdictions on the following topics: Case Management, Co-Response, CITs, Crisis Call Response, Crisis Call Diversion, Trainings, Funding, Info-Sharing, Data & Analysis, Policies & Procedures, Collaboration, Homeless Outreach Team, Substance Use, and Leadership.
CSG Justice Center staff held 75 contacts (via phone and email) with FY18-FY23 Second Chance Act Category 3 grantees in the month of November (8 SCA Co-Occurring, 29 SCA Substance Use Disorders, 18 SCA Crisis Stabilization and Community Reentry, and 20 SCA Pay for Success)
Objective 3: Promote Justice Counts with the goal of increasing participation and support.
9/9 - Presentation to the Office of the Assistant Attorney General on connections between Justice Reinvestment and Justice Counts.
Objective 1: Use the hub and spoke model to engage all necessary and appropriate subject matter expertise to support Justice Counts design and implementation. (Partners)?
CSG Justice Center staff met with the National Center for State Courts, the National District Attorney's Association, the National Association of Counties, and the National Criminal Justice Association to discuss areas of collaboration.???

CSG Justice Center staff worked with Recidiviz to release the following updates to the Justice Counts Publisher platform, including updates for both users:
adding a tooltip for the metric total while in the breakdowns view to make the Explore Data portion of Publisher easier for agencies to use;
adding a Configuration Status button to clarify if an agency has finished fully defining a metric;
