BJA, CCETAC (AIR), and Vera participated in a call to discuss technical assistance for the tribal grantees, specifically Cherokee Nation (CAREERRS) and Navajo Nation (ARES). During the call, TA coaches discussed the current status of the tribal grantees, and participants agreed on the needs of the grantees and developed a plan with the next steps for engaging the subject matter expertise of Stephanie Autumn in managing and supporting tribal grantees.

Gloria Dean called NTTAC to inquire about resources available around the second chance act. Ms. Dean runs a non-profit focused on career opportunities for previous offenders, and wanted to know how to secure funding or get involved in BJA grant opportunities. The NTTAC coordinator and Ms. Dean disscussed the BJA grants process and current funding opportunities, as well as current grantees with Second Chance Act funding who can be a future resource.
