The monthly TA Grantee Hour is a group Technical Assistance opportunity for STOP School Violence grantees. TA Lead and Specialists discuss grantee questions and TA needs, and grantees have the opportunity to network with other grantees.

The National Center for School Safety provides one-on-one technical assistance to STOP grantees. This one-on-one assistance was first offered in January 2021 and continues to present. From July-December 2021, there were 102 one-hour One-on-one Technical Assistance Meetings via Zoom.

Gang Alternative, Inc. was one of these agencies. TA Specialists conducted email follow-up with them to discuss new staff transition and sustainability resources.

This Intensive TA has been offered since January 2021, and is provided to select agencies requiring more assistance. Camden City School District was one of these agencies. TA Specialists have been in contact with Camden City School District since 6/3/2021, with their intake meeting occurring on 10/6/2021. This intake meeting was conducted by TA Specialists as a one-hour meeting via Zoom to address concerns relating to MOUs and program planning.

This Intensive TA has been offered since January 2021, and is provided to select agencies requiring more assistance. Illinois State Board of Education was one of these agencies. TA Specialists have been in contact with Illinois State Board of Education since 1/9/2021, with their intake meeting occurring on 2/4/2021 and 4 additional follow-up meetings since their intake. Of those follow-up meetings, 1 occurred in the reporting period July-December 2021.

Regional School Unit No. 25 was one of these agencies. TA Specialists conducted 1 one-hour intake meeting via Zoom as well as email follow-up with them to discuss new team hires and challenges due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Delta Area Association for Improvement of Schools was one of these agencies. TA Specialists conducted 3 one-hour meetings via Zoom as well as email follow-up with them to assist with strategies for gaining partner MOU cooperation.

McAllen Independent School District was one of these agencies. TA Specialists directed them to resources to help with grant management and budget concerns.
