The “Victim Counsel Coordination Part II: Preserving Victims’ Rights” webinar is now available on the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s YouTube page. This was the final installment in the “Victim Counsel Coordination” webinar series, supported by the Association of Prosecuting Attorney’s Capital Case Litigation Initiative.

The Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Team is continuing their new interview series, Meet the SAKI Experts! This series of brief interviews will highlight SAKI TTA’s partners and consultants and their roles on the SAKI project. During each event, a member of the SAKI TTA Team will conduct a virtual interview with the featured subject matter expert.

On June 17, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. ET, the Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center will present an online Expert Q&A discussion with Lori A. McGee and Helen Supanich on "The U.S. Department of Justice National Elder Fraud Hotline To Assist Victims of Financial Fraud."

 The Bureau of Justice Assistance is seeking applications for its FY 2020 Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Program, which will provide training and technical assistance (TTA) providers the opportunity to work with service providers from local, state, and tribal jurisdictions.

The first in the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys’ Capital Litigation Improvement Project Webinar Series features presenter Dan Levey of the Arizona Crime Victims Rights Law Group. In “Victim-Counsel Coordination Part I,” Mr. Levey will share his personal and professional experiences on the subject of victims in capital litigation, shedding light on the strengths, as well as the gaps, of the system.
