NDCRC Co-directors Dr. Christina Lanier and Dr. Kristen DeVall are working with Dr. Jacqueline Van Wormer of NADCP to collect information on peer recovery support specialists (PRSS). Survey information includes the scope of the role and how treatment courts are utilizing PRSS. The survey opened on November 8, 2021 and was intended to close January 12, 2022. The survey was reopened to allow additional responses in Idaho and closed officially on 2/28/2022.
From March 15 to May 19, 2021, the NDCRC website included a survey prompt upon arrival. Users were asked to complete a short series of questions regarding their user experience and functionality of the website. The goal of the survey was to inform NDCRC staff of changes that could be made to increase efficiency of the site or to identify areas where more information can be provided to the field. Maintaining the website is a grant deliverable of the NDCRC.
From February 10, 2021 through March 31, 2021, NDCRC co-directors Dr. Kristen DeVall and Dr. Christina Lanier hosted office hours from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM, three days per week. Slots of 30 minutes in length were available to all recipients of the Tribal Healing to Wellness Court Survey so that respondents could pose questions about the survey process or content.
On February 24, 2021, NDCRC co-directors Dr. Christina Lanier and Dr. Kristen DeVall, along with representatives from the Tribal Law & Policy Institute, hosted a webinar inviting questions on the first inaugural Tribal Healing to Wellness Courts Survey and providing answers during the live session.
The St. CJCC reached out to NCJA for help creating a community-wide stakeholder survey.
Created survey in partnership with BJA to determine effectiveness of DCRA reporting. Survey development began during this reporting period. Results will be shared with BJA once survey closes.
Survey went out on July 6th 2021 and this entry will be updated next reporting cycle.
The National Law Enforcement Applied Research & Data Platform is an effort facilitated by the National Police Foundation and funded by the National Institute of Justice. This new data-driven platform provides survey data to police agencies at no cost. The data may be used to drive policy decisions, as well as gauge the community’s perspectives on law enforcement.
