During this reporting period, BJA leadership indicated that there was no pressing need to hold a PDMP grantee orientation webinar; however, PDMP TTAC team members continue to offer assistance in organizing the webinar pending BJA leadership’s decision to move forward.

• The 2023 COSSUP National Forum was held on August 29-31, 2023. There was not a specific rural track, but more than 70 workshops were offered, many of which focused on topics relevant to rural jurisdictions working to facilitate public health and public safety partnerships to address drug use in their communities.

TTA Need: The National Criminal Justice Training Center has been supporting Nez Perce Tribe, a FY21 COSSUP grantee, through onsite training and ongoing project implementation support in developing their tribal law enforcement/prosecutor based youth diversion program. NCJTC is currently collaborating with the Tribal Law and Policy Institute (TLPI) to support Nez Perce in the policy and procedure development stages for their new program.
