Attend a COVID-19 Briefing for Law Enforcement Executives

Join the National Police Foundation, Major Cities Chiefs Association, and the Police Executive Research Forum for a COVID-19 briefing for law enforcement executives on Thursday, March 19, 2020 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. ET. The briefing will be conducted by representatives from the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), and Public Health Service (PHS).

COAP Webinar Series: Making Data Simple – Dashboards and Visualization

Reviewing and discussing data with stakeholders can be challenging because people have different comfort levels with data and statistics. Sometimes the most effective way to communicate data findings is through the creation of effective data visualizations. Data dashboards have become popular because they can be easily explained and interpreted by a variety of users. In some cases, data dashboards allow the end user to manipulate the data and isolate individual variables, allowing further exploration and knowledge building.

The Prescription Drug Monitoring Program's Training and Technical Assistance Center hosts a monthly educational webinar series. This series facilitates the exchange of critical information and explores topics of special interest or growing concern in prescription drug monitoring. Events are publicized on the PDMP website www.pdmpassist.org'content'events under the calendar of events, helping PDMP Administrators and others register online and network with other attendees.
