"8/6/24 Hamilton meeting: updates:(1) Time use analyses finished data collection – finished preliminary analysis. (2) Capacity building for qualitative data analyses – Sam has given intro and coaching on that. And in week will be working on teaching them ATLAS ti (3) Investigative liaison – developed data collection tool for most of the work of the task force, including the investigative liaison and combined the measures into a single doc with a dashboard component. It has gone great. This helps them collect data. The tool is in Microsoft office excel.

Discussed 2 main goals: • Goal 1: Identify and Share Resources on Social Return on Investment (SROI) for Crisis Intervention Teams •Goal 2: Enhance Communication and Dissemination of Work to a Broader Audience, and will provide TTA plan, as well as connecting them with Alaska for assiting them with selecting an evaluator. "

December 3, 2024: met to discuss updates and needs. They just completed their evalaution and have sent to Helath Department and to BJA to review. They also used AI to code within ATLAS ti to assist the helath department in producing code and reports. They do not need anything at this time, but mentioned they will be attending the 2025 National Forum on Overdose Fatality Review: Turning the Tide in Portland, Oregon, on February 11–12, 2025, and asked if we will attend.

Focus group to provide a unique opportunity to discuss the experiences and insights of several law enforcement professionals and family members who have a degree of exposure to suicide. The purpose of this event is to listen to the participants and consider their individual, family, and agency experiences and recommendations.

November CoP held on 11/19/24 at 2 PM ET. Topic was a brainstorm discussion on hiring and retention amongst grantees. Major discussion points included rural hiring, difficulty hiring for short-term grants/projects, lack of qualified applicants.
