Over the past six (6) months, the IACP met with core staff from the Allegheny County core team five (5) times. The team discussed site updates, including the NCE submission to BJA, curriculum development, and the impact of a local lawsuit on their project. They are working on multiple training modules, some of which need to be rolled out before the full 40-hour training due to a local consent order. Site will be hiring external trainers due to current staff capacity issues.

An integrated and comprehensive week of memorial activities that honor the memory of the officers lost in the line of duty, and building the basis for law enforcement survivors to understand ways they can begin to rebuild their shattered lives. C.O.P.S. Survivor's Conference includes over 70 counseling and debriefing sessions facilitated by professional counselors and peer support staff each year.
